When will my order arrive?
All orders are freshly prepared and usually delivered within 10 days of placing your order. For example, if you order on a Monday, your box will arrive the following week by Friday at the latest.
How will I know when my delivery is coming?
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email from DPD with your delivery date and tracking details. That way you can follow your parcel right to your door.
Which days do you deliver?
Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is £15 for orders up to 15kg, £20 for up to 30kg, and £25 for up to 45kg. This just covers the courier and packaging — we don’t make any profit on delivery. If our costs ever go down, we’ll happily lower the price.
How is my order packed? Will it stay fresh?
Yes! All meat is prepared fresh, packed in insulated packaging with ice packs, and sent by next-day courier to make sure it arrives in top condition. If your parcel is delayed, the packaging is designed to keep your meat cold for up to 72 hours.
Can I make special requests?
Of course. If you’d like your meat packed or cut a certain way, just pop your request into the ‘special instructions’ box on the basket page when you order.
Can I change/add to my order after it’s placed?
Because everything is prepared fresh and the amount of orders we receive, we’re not able to change/add to orders once they’ve been placed.
What if there’s an issue with my order?
If something is missing or there’s a problem with your order, please include your order number when you get in touch. This helps us find your details quickly and sort things out for you.

The shop is located at Robert Foster Farmer & Butcher, 45 Churchgate, Retford, DN22 6PA
Pie Stock
All our pies are baked fresh each week, and we do our best to make enough to cover all orders. If they show as out of stock, it just means the last batch has sold out. Don’t worry — we add more to the website every time we bake a fresh batch, so please check back soon.
How long does it take to reply to messages?
We do our best to reply quickly, but please allow up to 2 working days for a response.
